Do you collect signed posters?
If so from which franchise? Is it multi signed or just one because it's a character poster? Like the Lotr III ones for example.
Post piccies people.

My first signed poster is the movie-poster from The Evil Dead. I absolutely love those movies, and with all 3 leading-ladies of the first one presence at Weekend of Horrors last year, I couldn't resist a signed poster. Only 2 cast-members needed now! Signed by: Betsy Baker - Ellen Sandweis - Sarah York Then we have my Star Wars trilogy-poster: Signed by: - Paul Blake (NSC4) - Dave Prowse (DSC1) - Kenny Baker (DSC1) - Jeremy Bulloch (DSC1) - Caroline Blakistone (DSC1) - Carrie Fisher (LFCC4) - Peter Mayhew (LFCC4) - Anthony Daniels (FACTS) And ofcourse my LOST-poster: Signed by: Jorge Garcia, Maggie Grace and John Terry

Signed posters look great don't they? I started with it just recently.
But I wonder what's the motivation behind personalising or not personalising the posters? I prefer non personalised. I dunno I will never sell it but still I like to have something of monetary value.

Maarten and I have several signed posters (well, I have one, he has more). All of them are Star Trek, that's what we started with and are the biggest fans of.
We have: - TOS DVD box season one promo poster signed by Shatner - TOS DVD box season twe promo poster signed by Nimoy - Search for Spock poster (original from the eighties) signed by Shatner, Nimoy, Nichols, Koenig, Takei and I might have forgotten someone there - DS9 poster signed by 12 actors, most main cast
we have more, but most are just signed by one or two people
And Maarten collects signed statues. These include a Voyager statue signed by all the main guys, and Kate Mulgrew (the main girls tend to stay in America!) and statues of and signed by Shatner, Takei, Koenig, Denise Crosby and Mulgrew/Beltran.
Most of these will be on display in our house, once we get frames and shelves and stuff...

I prefer non personalised. Concerning signed posters, I prefer it non-personalised as well. But unfortunately John Terry personalised my poster... He was signing it before I can see it. But it's ok, I'll make sure the other ones don't personalise. The reason that I prefer non-personalised is that I think it looks much nicer on a poster when there's no personalisations.

You know, I agree with what's been said. A signed poster will eventually have a ton of sigs, so if you ever needed to sell it, you'd want the most you could get.
The other thing is I really don't want "To Mike" written 20 times on a poster. 8x10's are fine, they are more personal I think.

Joel, that top SW poster is great, I love the simplicity of it. Yeah, that's what's really caught my eye about it. I really wanted a poster that's non-special edition/DVD release, and I just really liked this one. It was an advanced teaser poster for ANH and I thought that it would work great to represent the entire trilogy. By the end of the year it'll have 25 more sigs on it.
