Folks, I was wondering (and this is more for the non US readers here) how do you get your US or UK stamps ?
Can these be ordered online by CC or via PayPal ?

For UK stamps you can use: click
Never bought from them so don't know if it works fine. Just keep in mind that you don't buy stamp books because then you have to buy for 35 pounds minimum. Just choose sheets! |

Okay thnks. I normally got them via someone I "know" from another board in the US. I paid him by PayPal and he sent them over. But, since my PP account is empty atm (bought to much stuff recently I was looking for other resources. Other question, how much stamps do you put on the SASE for UK->NL and for US->NL if you just include one 8x10

I sometimes hear that people put $0,80 on them or on the other hand even more than the $2,40 I use, but the photos that returned all had enough postage on them.

Well, let me know how much a 8x10 photo + envelope (or maybe an extra index card) weighs, and I can tell you for sure.
But to mail an 8x10 photo in an envelope to the Netherlands from the US, here's what it costs by weight:
1 ounce = $0.84 2 ounce = $1.70 3 ounce = $2.55
Somebody have a scale they can weigh an 8x10 or two with an envelope? Mike

The site says, normally we ship in one businessday ! Right. Last time I ordered it took a week and a half....when the stamps arrived; it still said it was 'in progress' Due to siteupdates, the accountinfo can be wrong (they don't update this as much as they should) So: no worries

Their website updates way late. If you send something priority mail with tracking, you get it about two days before the website says it's been delivered.

Mike And this is surface mail or airmail? All the envelopes I get from the US with stuff bought on eBay had $3.25 or $4.00 on it. So that what I always put on: $4.00 (but I use an 8x10 untearable, plastic, bubly envelope with 2mm cardboard and photos, which is probably heavier; better save than sorry). Even then some stars have to add extra stamps when they bring it in through the postoffice.
