Mr. Hamill has agreed to sign personal items from YOUR COLLECTION! That's right, he has agreed to allow Coolwaters to bring him YOUR various items from home to have them signed, and he will even personalize it, if you wish!

Here is how it works:

Starting May 15, 2006 until June 19, 2006 Coolwaters Productions LLC will be taking orders to get your personal items signed. The signing will be hosted by Coolwaters the week of June 20-25 (exact day to be determined).

Coolwaters will get your stuff signed and, then AFTER June 25 the items will be mailed back to you. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your items to arrive.

FAQ:

* Will Mr. Hamill personalize my item?

Yes he will.

* I live outside the USA, can I still get my item signed?

Yes we will ship worldwide. Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping charges.

* How many items can I have signed?

At this time there is no limit. You can have as many items signed as you wish. You must pay for each one of course. If we get too many orders we may limit the quantities, but that will be announced later.

* When will I get my item back?

About 4 weeks. We anticipate that all items will be out no later than August 1, 2006.

* What happens if my item is damaged?

Coolwaters Productions LLC, it's owners and Mr. Hamill will NOT be responsible for lost or damaged items. Coolwaters will do everything in it's power to handle your items with care, but we do NOT promise the condition of your item once it is returned to you.

* Can I get a photo of Mr. Hamill signing my item?

Due to the overwhelming number of items we will have we can NOT get a photo of YOUR exact item. We will be taking pictures during the signing and we will do our best to show a variety of items in front of Mr. Hamill's signing table, but that is all we can provide. You will however receive a C.O.A from Coolwaters.

* Can I but a an 8x10 color photo from Coolwaters to have signed?

Coolwaters does not supply photos to be signed. You must send in your own photo. If you do not have one and wish to purchase on PLEASE visit our friends at www.officialpix.com. They have numerous photos of Luke Skywalker available.

Reminds me of the personalisations for Creation. They ask like 110$ for a personalised Avery Brooks while I got one for only 40$ :S

Besides wouldn't it be a bummer to spend so much money on this only to discover he's doing LFCC or Celebration 4 or something?

The sad thing is, people still pay 100$ for a Hamill, so if he still gets 100 bucks a sig, why should he lower his price. I might, after a concideration buy one, if he at least put a cool quote on it, but since he doesn't do that, I dont see the point of paying 100 for just his sig.

Those chances are very slim....and if he is at one of those 2; it would be a 'William Shatner': quick sig and thats it.

Damn... if I want my poster AND a 8x10 to be signed it's gonna cost me $250...
PLUS: $35 for the poster to return and $23 for the photo...

Fact: You won't get Hamill cheap......ever!
I paid $ 80 for mine for instance....

However, HE IS PRICEY. There's NOTHING we can do about that. Even at "dealer" prices, he's extremely expensive. The chances of you getting him at $30 are null and void, I'm afraid.

Well if I guess that if I hadn't LFCC and DSC to go to, I probably had got my poster and a 8x10 signed by him, because this chance to get both of them signed isn't presented on a plate that often.

He did a signing very recently at OfficialPix....and one at Wattographs a while back....

So, no doubt there will be more opportunities!

Why doesn't he ever quote or write his character name, isnt he allowed to do that ?

I think it's not that he isn't allowed: many Star Wars people write their characternames (Daniels, Baker, Mayhew do that for instance)

I think it's either the fact that he doesn't want to get typecast (as far as that hasn't already been the case ) or maybe he's too 'lazy'.
Who knows?
Carrie Fisher won't write her charactername 'Princess Leia' under her signature too.

Quotes: they rarely do that in a private signing. In his OP signing he wrote 'Forcefully yours' ; some kind of quote I guess....
I think it's just a matter of time: writing quotes takes up more time for the actor.

I'll check it ASAP as I'm curious myself.....

He was at a Celebration before so why not again? He rcently did Creation Grand Slam so I can see him doing other conventions as well. He also does a fair share of private signings so it isn't difficult to get him. It's just that when do you get a chance to get him on your own items? Personally I don't care since I'm not really collecting Star Wars (won't say no to an IP from him though) but for many collectors it's a chance.

And yeah you pay a lot for a Hamill, but if you have to pay 100 bucks anyways wouldn't you rather do it in person? even if it's a quick sig? At least you've seen the guy signing your stuff for your money. Personally though I wouldn't pay more then 50 euro's for just the sig, because in the end it's nothing nmore then a piece of paper with some ink on it (if they don't allow chatting, photo, quotes and the likes)

I don't see him at LFCC or an SM event actually but never say never. For ten years Richard Dean Anderson looked like a never ever for a con untill recently.
