Bill,
Suggestion. Why not roll up my Lost poster and yours together in one tube? As long as you're sure the ink dries, it should be ok. You could even put the brown paper in between them if you thought it would make a difference. It would also save you from getting two posters out of two tubes for Maggie & Jorge.

I know, but I've got my Star Wars-poster as well

True, but it would cut down the number of tubes to two.

Any tube should be able to hold several posters. The plastic ones mentioned are somewhat wider and often break half way, which would make access easier. As for drying the ink, that would be a problem with one poster too, as it is rolled over itself.

True... still, walking around with 2 tubes and a bag all day makes you wonder: "What am I doing to myself?"

You can walk in and out of the building just like that? Nope. It's a jail. Somebody has to come bail you out ;D LOL True, but I think that when I got the three posters signed by all the folks who I want on them, it'll be almost the end of the day I guess....

Quick calculation based on tentative prices: -Fisher 4 x 25 GBP -the Fuss 2 x 25 GBP -Opp 1 x 15 GBP -Mayhew 2 x 20 GBP -Flanery 1 x 20 GBP That makes 225 GBP Dunno about Wood..... Update: -Fisher 4 x 25 GBP -Oppenheimer 1 x 15 GBP -Mayhew 2 x 15 GBP Total: 145 GBP* (* excluding sigs I need to bring for others) Still dunno about Wood...if it's a 'Shatner' I'll pass... And here's a real stunner for ya: This will be the last con I will attend in the UK** (**excluding 100% Star Wars Cons/an event with Mark Hamill or another real bigshot from SW that will be impossible to get) Reason(s)? a lot...

Heh.... 'ere we go: -Nowadays I'm mainly (90%) interested in Star Wars guests (and there are few I still need AND do conventions); people like Dreyfuss etc are awesome, but when Carrie Fisher hadn't been announced for LFCC, I wouldn't go there. Dreyfuss, Oppenheimer, Flanery; I consider them to be a 'bonus'. (Besides SW, I'm still interested in a handful of other guests; Indiana Jones & some retro/80s people I 'grew up with'.) -Then, there's the 'sig-satisfaction' factor; I don't have the 'drive/need' to collect 'as much as possible'. Quality for me. This feeling got stronger & stronger after DSC. Example: normally I'd be hyper with the news of [insert name of a non-SW actor] visiting Amsterdam (for instance); now, I'm like; do I REALLY want to wait for hours and hours........and hours....just to get a simple scribble? (Buying it at a respectable dealer is easier imo) Sure, it's great to score.....but I prefer the sig of a so called n00b I have hung out with on a photo with a personal quote that rocks. (I've said it before; my Bulloch & Prowse sigs have a wonderful story attached to them....and are more dear to me than, say, Knightley, Depp or Jackman) Exception: if it were Ford, Neeson etc: I'd wait 24 hours for a simple scribble Exception 2: When my 'agent' can get me a sig of [insert name of a non-SW actor] for free.....I'll say: yes, please, thank you! I still enjoy conventions and if it was up to me I'd go to every one of them in the UK! But, UK conventions cost more ca$h than dutch/belgian ones because of the hotel, flight...I'd rather 'invest' that in something that is more important/dear to me. (I'm currently working on some deals ;D) Exception: suppose I could do interviews or be involved in the con in any other way; then I'd be a different story. Exception 2: a con with Mark Hamill, a very large amount of new SW guests etc etc (Celebration 4 for instance) Final thing: the Netherlands has a good, pleasant con with DSC, and FACTS promises to be really awesome this year (I'll definately go to FACTS). Then again; In the mid-70s a dude named David Bowie once said he would quit giving concerts.....and in 1990 that same guy went on a world-tour claiming he would never play his old songs....only to perform them live again 2 years ago....
