I think that it would be wisest for everyone to wait and buy their tickets at the venue itself. I don't think it's going to be a case of guests showing up or not, but of something a little bit more... drastic. But that's just my "opinion".

I'm probably going to DSC. I'm not that big horror fan. Maybe I'll check out both events. DSC on Saturday and the Weekend on Sunday. The Weekend is just around the corner from where I live.
