Sofia Coppola is an acclaimed director....Lost in Translation, Virgin Suicides. I meant it like: she's the only daughter of someone famous I'd like to get a sig of And hell yeah: NOT on a FFC photo! You wouldn't like a sig from the daughter of Steven Tyler or Jon Voight? BTW: Major League rules!

I would be happy to get two of the "kids" of Frances Ford Coppola (Sofia & Roman) as they were both in Star wars But I agree, if you are getting somebody else when you wanted the real deal you will not be happy. But might be better then nothing yeah. About the Karloff signature for sale at signaturepieces it is a great, authentic autograph. And I'm pretty sure the price will get much higher when it's getting closer to the end of the "auction". But a signed 8x10 by Karloff would be worth $$$$$$ Btw, Sara Karloff is a very sweet lady. I don't think she's in it for the money. And even if she was, good for her. Her father was never paid enough for the work he did for the "industry" anyway!

Mike, with the "where does it end" I meant, if everyone let there kids sign, will you (the collector) still be happy ? I won't be, thats for sure! And I get the feeling you share the same opinion. 1 exception: the daughter of Francis Ford Coppola ;D I would have thought you'd say Debbie Reynolds's daughter.

Yeah Major League was a great movie!
I agree an 8x10 is worth much more than an index card.
And I don't doubt that Karloff wasn't paid a fair wage back in the day.

He died in 1968, but I have heard rumours that the son of the nephew of the car-salesman that lived next to the mother of the florist where Jack Pierce's wife sometimes got flowers is signing photos ;D

Well actually the son of the niece of the car-salesman that lived across the street of the girlfriend of the florist where Jack Pierce's wife's poolboy got his flowers signs the autographs. But it's an easy mistake to make.
