Most of the times the German premieres are in Berlin. But this time it is a bit closer to home, Cologne. (About 1,5 hours from where I live). The premiere is on June 28. Only thing is, I don't know which stars will be there. I don't even know if it will have the original voice actors of the German ones.
If it is the original actors it can be very intersting. Just look at these names:
Bruce Willis (Die Hard, Sin City, Pulp Fiction) Steve Carell (40 Year Old Virgin) William Shatner (Star Trek) Nick Nolte (Hulk, Cape Fear) Thomas Haden Church (Spiderman 3) Allison Janney (Finding Nemo, West Wing) Eugene Levy (American Pie) Catherine O'Hara (Nightmare before X-mas, Beetlejuice) Avril Lavigne (Singer) Omid Djalili (The Mummy, Worls is not Enough)
Tim Johnson (Director of Antz) Karey Kirkpatrick (Writer Chicken Run, Hitchhiker's Guide) Bonny Arnold (Producer Toy Story, Addams family) Christian Kubsch (Visual Effects The Matrix, Harry Potter)

So why would Bruce Willis turn up to hear his voice replaced by a German actor? What would be the point? Too bad really.

Regardless, that's one stacked list of actors for voice work.

That seems to be the norm these days for an animated movie. Anyone know who did the voices on Robin Hood?

No no, what I am saying is, that if it is the premiere of the English versions - there might be the original actors. If it is the German version, I'm pretty sure we can forget about it. I guess only time will tell

But the Germans normally don't do English versions, right?

I really don't know.
I have seen so many big actors come to Germany for premieres, so I'm thinking why not? But because it is a cartoon, I really don't know.

Even in London animation films are poorly attended by the voice actors.

Just noticed that one of the German voice artists, Gotz Otto had a big part on Tomorrow Never Dies.

Well I have the news. There will be 1 guest actor from the English version: Bruce Willis.
The rest are the German voice overs.

So he's doing a complete European tour then. I doubt he will sign though.

Bruce Willis would be awsome just to see in real life! And when I do see him I'll be sure to bring a photo
