i dislike chantal janzen too , (though i need her sig for my project  ) ive got a dutch name for her and i listend to the soundtrack they raped the songs by changing it into really stupid titles and lyrics, but not as bad as they raped jesus christ superstar though |

The thing is that they really don't need to change the lyrics in "Kom erbij" because they already have a good translation: the animation film. Same goes for The Lion King. Saw that musical twice now but refuse to see it in The Netherlands.

I KNOW kom erin is a terrible title and i saw the little musical awards preview and , about jesus christ superstar the same i mean dutch sounds soooo ugly
oh and Martine You should hear the lyrics to some other B&B songs in dutch

My 2 cents:
Dutch Musicals Suck.
In fact: they shouldn't translate anything: movies, musicals...
Stick with the original.
Suppose they should translate 'Tommy' from the Who.....would that become: 'Hij is een flipperkast-tovenaar' (instead of PinballWizard etc)
Blasphemy.

Well there are some Dutch musicals who were good because it originated here or the original version isn't very known over here such as Elizabeth, De Jantjes, Passion (although the last one was booooooring -_- ) But yeah in general I don't like them.
I prefer West End or Broadway.
And don't even get me started on the Dutch subbing of movies/ tv shows!
