Me and my pal Mike bid on 3500 tradingcards the other day on eBay because it contained 7 tradingcards we REALLY wanted. These seven card were all Battlestar Galactica Adama cards, signed by Lorne Greene. Maybe Mike can post his half in this thread as well, but these are mine:
Lorne Greene signed photos are really common. You will find hundreds of him as Ben on Bonanza. But Lorne Greene as Adama is a VERY rare find. The chance you'll EVER find one is really small. This buy is without doubt the biggest collection of Lorne Greene signed Adama items that has ever turned up. So yes, we really had sweated handpalms when this auction ended. Even though we were overbid 3 times in the last 10 seconds we were very lucky to win this one. Mike even closed his eyes because he didn't want to see how crazy it went and what prize we had to pay. We did a little dance after we won, because this was without doubt a very happy moment and for just $40/Greene-card it was a steal!
