Last movie I saw in theatre was also Harry Potter IV. And after seeing the previous movies and reading the books, it was indeed a let down. I agree that there was no real story. But in all fairness it wasn't a complete horror either. It was an amusing film for the evening, but certainly not of high standards. I did love Miranda Richardson though, she's such a talanted actress.

I liked HP4 as well, I thought that movie-wise, it was more interesting than HP3. But that's because they changed book 3 arouind too much, that's my fav book out of the series, the movie does not hold a candle to it.

HP is not for the smallest kiddies anymore and i like it!
movies are a completely different medium than books. it's common sense that they can't put everything from the book in the film otherwise they would have ended up with a movie that lasts 6+ hours. so as a movie it's nice, as a bookmovie it's so so and the book itself is great. the fourth one is my favourite.

In the theatre Serenity, great one! On DVD Fantastic four, which was a little light on the action.
