Just got back from a screening of Walk the Line. What can I say. I love Johnny Cash. It was not hard to love this movie. I don't think it's a movie for everyone though. You do have to have some affinity with the material.
About the actors: Phoenix is a great actor and did a wonderful job portraying Cash. Robert Patrick, give that man at least an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. But the absolute gem of this picture, and I never thought she could do anything like this, is Reese Witherspoon. Definately deserved that Globe, strong contender for the Oscar as far as I'm concerned.

I just came back from the university theatre. I saw the Danish movie Brothers. Or Brodre in Danish. It was a very good movie, very emotional. But unfortunately also very slow.  |

Last night I saw this beauty in the University Theatre (it's French movie month). I thought it was a great movie. Great acting by Audrey Tautou. Great cinematography and directing. And I love movies where you have to think. And the fact that Jodie Foster - my fave actress - was there and speaking French really helped too.  |

i saw it too wel part of it this movie is sooo bad in so many ways but i looks soo fake Devils Rejects now this movie , had something it was cool brutal and exciting |

The jungle thing was boring. Just saw Walk the Line. Didn't know anything about Johnny Cash but this was a SUPERB movie. Phoenix deserves that oscar. |
