Part of the cinema experience depends on the theater itself. Does it have a good quality image, good sound (not too loud, not too soft), a break halfway the movie, space (both for chairs and for your legs), etc.
So what is your favorite theater, where is and why is it so good?

I don't go there to often anymore because most good movies are showed in the evening and I'm afraid to drive in the dark (the people who know me personally know why ) I did enjoy being at the IMAX in New York too, but that was a once in a lifetime experience for now

My favorite theater is the Royal in Heerlen. I used to go to the other theatre in Heerlen, the H5, but their seats are crappy and the sound isn't that great. In the Royal, if you choose the right seat, the sound is perfect, and all the seats are comfy (for me, I've heard taller people complain that they are too low). Second best: Metro Heerhugowaard, cause they're closest to where I live now!

But my favorite cinema was in Malta. They had such great seats and cupholders and everything and even airconditioning lol. As far as the screen goes, nothing beats I-MAX !!!

My favorite theater is " Movie Unlimited" in Kampen, I'ts a cosy cinema with great seats and space for your legs. The quality of screen and sound is very wel. You can order drinks or snacks while you watch the movie but that's not really annoying. It's a new cinema and I will see many movies here
