Second George Lucas has arrived. On the other hand this is probably the studios work. To compare Jackson with Lucas is a joke..... Lucas invented/started so many things....ILM (and the motion controlled camera, CGI etc), Skywalker Sound, modern-day cinema, heck; without him Pixar (which he started and then sold) wouldn't exist! Jackson made some questionable D-movies.... Gotta give him credit for LotR & Heavenly Creatures though.

And the Frighteners is cool (which he also re-released this year in a 4-disc edition).
Love the artwork, but I have enough Lotr dvd's.

Frightners in a 4-disc edition? Cool. I only saw the 2-disc edition. Believe there's a three disc in the Netherlands, but in Germany they brought a 4disc, with also the orginial movie. English title English DTS (No german track on the DVD ) On all DVD's except the origional movie dutch subtitles. Was a must have for me.

I´d say its New Line thats "milking the cow". PJ is probably well aware of this strategy but it is often the studio that makes these decisions.
I´d consider getting these for the documentary alone.
