Why,Aimee Mann is a singer - and a really good one I might add. She did some soundtracks too.

Yep, solo. She got an Oscar nomination for the soundtrack for Magnolia. She also has a cameo in The Big Lebowski. She is married to Michael Penn . She sang in the band Til Tuesday. She made a cameo in a Buddy epsisode.

Well she used to be in a band called Till Tuesday in the 80s and went solo after that. She was most popular here in the early 90s and still tours and releases albums in the US.
