I don't know if any of you had ever heard of the organizers Slanted Fedora. Back years ago, before Creation took a commanding lead in Star Trek Conventions, Slanted Fedora did some big Star Trek shows. They used to even have cons in my state.
Anyway, attendance started dropping and they quit having it here. A couple years later, they stopped doing all their cons altogether. A few others tried to pick up where they left off, but it never amounted to anything.
I felt bad for them because they couldn't make it, and therefore no cons nearby, but I just ran across this:

After reading that, I don't feel bad for them at all. I'm glad they got sued. Hopefully it will send a message to other con promoters that if you don't play by the rules, you will get burned.
