Well if it's the same guys making it... Edward Olmos should have the lead (It's about the Adama family only a decade before the attack on Caprica, right? So I'd say Olmos should star in this), Moore/Eick are producing and they have a writer from "24"... It has two thumbs up with me!
What I'm more worried about: What could happen on Caprica?!?!? I hope it isn't "As the World Turns" in space or something. Galactica is now very much focussed on drama in stead of action. I'm worried the new series will focus even more on this since it's about family.

Could very much be a soap opera. The Secretary of Education Roslyn having an affair with President Adar, Tigh's wife having an affair with most anybody, Adama and his wife split up, Baltar having mental affairs with a cylon, etc. etc. etc.

Just reread the story in the link and it's said to take place 50 years before the attack on Caprica. So no Olmos or other cast. On this site: zap2itI read one extra interesting line to mikedx link above, namely: "Humankind's Twelve Colonies are at peace and on the verge of a technological breakthrough: the first Cylon." Sounds like Terminator all over again. At least in the original series Cylons weren't created by men!
