Yes I'm going to England, London in February. Don't know what I'll do for a living but have decided to make the jump. I've already notified my housemate I'm going. Will put my stuff in storage and will rent a room in London ehm did I say room? I meant shed or a box Perhaps I'll fail miserably in my attempt to settle there (opening bankaccounts, getting a National Insurance Number etc... can be quite frustrating and are lenghty processes) but at least I've tried! Will keep you posted

You are going to London without taking care of things before hand?!?! Just go to London and see how things turn out!?!?

It can take months....years before you get approval to settle in a foreign land. (I know people who have done this or are doing it as we speak). Thought about that?
Anyways.....nothing but good luck!!!

We are EU citizens. No problem to move there. Getting a bank account however is a b!tch. Oh and just talked to a former collegue and guess what? She's moving to London at the same time as I and we have decided to rent something together. She already has a studio reserved. Things are looking up haha! Oh and thanks. Who knows, I might be back after 6 months because I'm homesick or something lol. We will see

We are EU citizens. No problem to move there. Totally forgot that. The countries I 'referred' to are the US and Canada.

Thanks for the support everyone and it looks like I'm going in the beginning of February. Have enough money to pay the rent for at least three months and all the other basic stuff. After that I definately need a job but that won't be a problem. (i hope)
