In my opinion SSC is the coolest manufacturer of film & tv related merchandise to date. I am not trying to sound elitist or anything, but anyone can buy an action figure. I used to buy all the Star Wars action figures. I enjoyed the hunt for them, the constant drive to complete the collection, the thrill of it all but in the end it'd be nothing more than something anyone could do or buy. It didn't really diversify a collection. Sideshow produces anything from 12" to 1:1 scale replicas, from the affordable $30 to the not so affordable $15.000 range. But almost everything they produce are in relatively small and limited quantities. So to me personally, it has become fun again to collect this kind of merchandise. Something I have not had in a couple of years.
