Last Monday, we went to see his show "de schreeuwstorm". The show was a lot of fun, and we had a great night out (even though we couldn't park, and we ran in at the last second)
After the show we decided to wait around for a bit, because we had (of course) brought pictures to get signed.
After some fruitless waiting, Maarten decided to talk to the manager of the theater, who was doing some surveillance in the foyer. He explained that we wanted to get autoigraphs, and asked where mr van 't Hek would be leaving. The manager didn't know, but ten minutes later, he waved at us, and we were let into the artists foyer, and we got our sigs! I haven't scanned them yet, but mine is a black and white compilation of photos from www.youp.nl and Maarten's is a colour compilation with pictures from the same source.
Mr van 't Hek was really nice, and actually very short. I knew that, but standing next to him made it more obvious. On a stage on his own you don't really notice.
Oh, and I have always thought he looks a bit like Mart Smeets, and now think so even more.
