But do you guys think that Henry is one of the others?
I don't know anymore because of what he said at the end of episode 16 and because the balloon wasn't on the spot that he said it was...
But we haven't seen a lot about that so that maybe can go the other way...

Wifey and I are in disagreement.
The baloon is in the clearing where he said it was, so she says he's not one of them.
I think he is one of them and he just made up the story because there happened to already be a balloon there and to feed them to the others. For all we know, somebody did land there and the others got him.
But then again, if he wants them to get sent off to the others, there wouldn't need to be a balloon there at all. Just make up a story about there being a pot of gold on the X. Then the others get them and they won't come back to tell that he lied...
But one thing's for sure, the nature walk is going to take a turn for the worse...

Personally I don't think he's one of the others. It would be predictable and Lost isn't predictable. My bet is that he did crash there in a balloon and now he's just plain crazy because he had to spend 4m months in the jungle or something.
On the other hand: Henry said he studied at the university of Michigan. That also haoppened to be the "birthplace" of the Dharma Initiative. Had something to do with the peacecorps as well, hmm Goodwin springs to mind......The plot thickens.....
By the way, since everybody seems to be connected with each other wouldn't it be weird if someone on the island knows henry? The priests and the plane where the link to mr. Eko and at the same time a test for Charlie.
Perhaps Henry is a test? Go all Jack Nicholson: Here's Henryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Well I sure didn't make the connection between Michigan & the Dharma Initiative. Good catch! Things never happen as coincidence, so maybe he does know more about the Hatch than we let on.
Do you guys remember in a previous episode when the numbers in the hatch ran out? Then it switched to like animal shapes & other characters? It's never been mentioned since. What's up with that?

I remember, and it HAS been shown in a episode after or before that one... Don't know which one exactley but I have to check. But I know for sure that it returned once... Well, besides the fact that I know for sure that I saw them in another episode, I did some research on the symbols and came up with the following: The symbols are straight from the Egyptian language. After I discoverd this I did some research on the meaning of them and found a translation. I made a screenshot from the symbols in the episode of Lost as well, to compare.  |

Just saw ep 2x17.
What the hell was that blue drawing/ painting thingie?! It looked like a map where the bunkers are or something like that.
So who's the guy pretending to be Henry? He could have gotten out of there and leave Locke behind but he didn't. I still don't think he's an other but perhaps the guy who drops the supplies or something?
You can't get the info of the University of Michagan etc of that ID Sayid dug up. Hmzz

Well I changed my mind. After they made it pretty clear that he one of the others, I don't think he was. I think he was in the balloon with the real Henry, but they had a fight and he killed him, or he's a fugitive, or some other guy with a past.
Look's like next week Sayid is going to torture him again.
I thought Locke was going to get paralyzed again with the door.
The blue drawing did indeed seem to be a blueprint. Looks to me like instructions on how to get into that one room they haven't been able to yet.
So the static Locke heard. Was that from the plane dropping the food supply annoucing when they were going to deliver?
More and more questions...

More and more questions... Great show isn't it ps. I'm "borrowing" ep17 from the net as we speak, so I haven't seen it yet. So by accident I read the spoilers from it in here... So untill I've seen episode 17, which I'm gonna do this saturday, I'm gonna avoid this topic.  |

Allrighty... I have seen ep17! I agree with both of you saying the blue blacklight-map is a blueprint of locations of secret rooms or something, because they haven't been able to get through that concrete wall that Sayid was trying to demolish. And I think behind that wall is a room with a couple of answers to our questions About Henry: I still don't know what's the story with him, butt I do think he has something to do with the Dharma institute and that we're going to find out his story through a flashback or something. About the static: I don't think it's from the plane which dropped the suplies, because the voice on the speaker was counting down and when the voice reached zero all the blastdoors came down. So what's that got to do with the plane which dropped the suplies? Nothing I think... But yet again it was a top-notch episode! |
