Thought this was a good episode. I liked seeing Eko and John working together. They both are men of faith...
I was confused about the tv monitors. Locke turned them all on, but did only one work (the one showing Jack)? If not, then I agree that they should have been looking at the other ones.
So what does the logs say?
Michael was all nervous about Libby with good reason. Wifey and I want to know if Jack filled her up with enough heroin to put her out of her misery, of just enough to ease the pain and she died anyway.
Poor Hurley...Guy can't get a break or a first date.

no I don't think he turned them all on. Just a couple and he only focussed/ tuned in one screen which happened to be their hatch.

Well I just watched the episode at work and I hate to say it, but it starting to get boring to me. I mean, what did this episode brought us ? Nothing shocking in my opinion. Another hatch, yay. Their are probably 6 of them on the island since the video showed "part 5/6" asuming every hatch has one part.
To me, the speed of the series is gone (for now) I remember watching the first ep. and adrenaline rushed through me, but now it starting to get slow which pretty much sucks.
About the ep, Lock did put on all screens, two went static, the others just black and one was monitoring the hatch with Jack etc. The logs just repeat the numbers and an accept mssg. But, here comes the interesting part, if these are logfiles from "The Hatch" then Michael's little chat with Walt should be there too.
Anyway I hope they speed up things for the season finale (i read somewhere that it will be a two hour finale) and for pete sake, let season 3 get better and be the last or this show will be doomed.
ps. Am I the only one that thinks, whenever Jack is on tv, "why didnt you sign my photo" ?

I also thought that the Michael/Walt chat should be in that stack of papers. The question is will they dig through it and find it?
I want to know why they dropped the whole deal about Jack's father. There's a coffin on the island, right? Whatever happened there?
Yeah, I agree about the let down. We've been waiting all this time, they find the MAIN place with the question mark, and it's a little studio? And we are lead to believe that the whole point is to monitor other people pushing buttons?
Well...
Actually I have been looking hard at the mailbox for the last 2 weeks for more sigs since shooting is over.

They've shown with Jack dicovering the empty coffin that he's been fooled by the morg (??) and that they haven't put the body of Jack's father in the coffin... at least that's what I think. Why should they do that? Well maybe for selling bodyparts (it happens ) or organ-donors or something like that. I dunno...

That's what you think, ok I understand but the only thing they showed us is the empty coffin Jack found. We don't have any more info than that. (Do we? )
And yes it's getting predictable. The only good thing was Henry and now he's gone (for the moment) as well. God I want Ethan back.......

Last week was the last day of filming at Hawaii, read all about it HEREFor a preview of the camp of "The Others" look HEREMy dad told me the following shocking tale that he heard on the news on the radio today: Broadcast of LOST in the USA has stopped, because of the huge storms in Hawaii at the moment. The LOST-crew was unable to film out there and when something happend with one of the crew or castmembers (a woman, my dad didn't know who) they abborted the filming.I can't find anything about this on the internet so I sure hope it isn't true. About the coffin: No we don't have any more info about that.

Just seen ep21. (finally)
Thought it was a great episode! But your right when you say that the Michael-thingy is a bit predictable. But the whole Lock-Eko trip was great! And did anybody of you notice that the father of the girl who came back to life in Eko's flashback was the guy who was the fortuneteller who told Claire to go with Flight 815 and gave her the tickets etc. in season 1. About the hatch: There must be several other hatches around because they are on John's little map. (Around the questionmark) I still love LOST and it is was becoming a BIT boring sometimes because nothing major happened, but now this was a great episode and hopefully they'll continue this line....

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Claire's fortune teller was the "dead" girls father. I did catch that.
Yes, more hatches. But where are they and what are in them? See push buttons, what other psycho babble could they do? You'd think the one with the question mark would be the main one and we could see into the other ones. But the camera's don't work there.
I didn't hear anything about a slowdown in production in Hawaii. And I can't imagine that they would finish filming the finale only one or two weeks before. I'll see if I can find any more info on that.

Flashback to Michael and what's he's been up during the period he was missing. Michael actually disappeared 13 Lost days from now. Number mean anything special? Well, actually no. 13 isn't one of the numbers. See Walt in this episode. Now this is just me, but does anybody else think that Michael Fox's sideburns were shaved and started growing back for the "current" scenes. Compare this to the flashback of when Zeke gets the groups guns. I swear they are fully grown in the flashbacks and just growing back in the later scenes. Perhaps this is when he got back from Marshall to film the next episodes... Do you remember when the gang looked for Michael and ended up getting their guns stolen by Zeke that there were gunshots? I didn't, but now we see where they came from. First 55 minutes about the way you'd expect. Last 5 throw you for a loop. From that and the previews. Is it legit? Is this what Michael asked for? Also, this episode didn't seem to end until 5-10 minutes late. A 65 minute episode??? A new website listed in the Hanso commercial: www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/Don't want to play the game? Yes I do, Sawyer got a (please translate fellow mods ) fleshwound (translation by Marko ) when they did shoot. ps. about the website "letyourcompassguideyou": weird site, you've gotta movie the compass around untill some kind of map will appear. After that you can click on a series of numbers to continue.

Sorry, I didn't say it clearly. This gunshot I am talking about happened when the gang was on their way from the beach to the others. I know where you are talking about Sawyer getting shot, but that was after they were surrounded. The shot I am talking about happened much earlier.
