But again new questions arrise... which I will talk about when I know that the ones who are watching LOST have seen this season finale. One thing though.. Theý said it was going to be a 2-hour finale, but it only lasted 1,5 hours...  |

According to my clock, and it might have been off, but I thought it ended up going from 9pm to 11:10 pm, which is 10 minutes over. Of course I had to watch the commercials. There was another Dharma commercial with another website, but I've LOST interest in that game except I'm wondering if we will see the guy in the background on the show...

I bet he isn't, but becomes paralyzed again. He lost his faith, and that will be his punishment.
You know how we all got sick of them showing an episode one week, reruns for 2 weeks, a new show for 2 weeks, then more reruns?
They say for Season 3 that they will show all new episodes every week for the first half of the season, take a break, and then show all of the second half of the season every week in a row.
Much easier to keep track of, but you can't miss a week.

And I think Locke isn't dead because Charlie came walking out on the beach after the "happening" and he was acting like nothing happened  And about the plane: When it's able to land safely, a lot of people can be safed that way by taking them all with the plane. But first let's hope Jack, Kate and Sawyer will be saved... And what do you think of Michaels actions? I know Walt is his son, but he killed 2 people, thrown 3 into the hands of some kind of savages... I thought it was also unexpected to see the General which we saw in one of the recent Sayid-flashbacks, working for Dharma! Cool flashback of Desmond by the way! |

I think what happened is that whatever force of nature or science that was kept contained has been released. Perhaps massive storms and/or global warming will now happen if it's natural. If it's artificial, then maybe some high tech weapon or source isn't any more.
I think that Locke is still alive, or they would have showed him dead and the beach people crying over it. But again, I think he will "pay" for losing his faith.
Now Eko and Locke are trapped together. The two men of faith. I think they will have to work together to get out. But at least no more damn buttons to push.
As for Charlie, I can see why he would walk out with his ears ringing to the beach and wonder where the rest of them were. But when they said they hadn't come back, why in THE HELL didn't he run back to look after them instead of spending the night kissy kissy with Claire? They are dying!!!
I liked Desmonds theory about how the island was the only thing left on earth. But then the last 5 minutes showed that it wasn't true. I think Penelope will show up to the rescue next season. Why would you have an EM detector in the cold places when he was sailing around the world? Shouldn't they be someplace closer to the equator?
I think Michael did what he had to. He made a deal with the devil and got his son back. BUT. I think he will circle around and leave Walt with Sun. Michael, Sayid, and Jin will hook up and ride in like the cavalry.
They went out of their way to show that Henry is the boss, even so far as to make Zeke (yeah he has a real name now) and the other girl look stupid by calling each other by name and removing the beard. I think they will fly Kate, Sawyer, and Jack off in the plane to show them something new about what they are really up to. Henry didn't seem to have a clue about what the white light was.
I missed the General was working for Dharma. Good catch!
I did see one thing. When Desmond follows the other guy out of the Hatch, when his yellow pants are ripped, you see Desmond looking at him. Then you see a shot of the other guy with the forest background. But you see a face looking out of the foliage. Is that Desmond? I thought it might be somebody else.

I just watched the episodes and must say that they were okay, not that I am like "woah", but just okay. Like Bill said, lots of new questions and still lots of old ones remain. I don't have a real opinion about all the stuff that happened, but I start to think that it's all some sort of "Truman Show" kinda thing. You know, Big Brother, but then on a global scale with a scientific backstory.
