1. Johnny Depp 2.Peter Jackson 3. wachowski's 4. Dakota Fanning 5.Brad Pitt Quick reaction: Depp: Good actor.....but Sparrow is greatly overrated Ed Wood is brilliant....his best role ever1 PJ: LotR was wonderful, Magnum Opus! Besides LotR his work is overrated, I agree Wachowskis: Loved all 3 Matrix movies...V for Vendetta was great too. Haven't seen Bound. Dakota: WOTW sucked....She was good in Hide & Seek Brad Pitt: Seen almost everything of him. Not a bad actor....although Mr & Mrs Smith was a fluke. In a way; he is kinda overrated. People like Steve Buscemi should get the attention he is getting. Actually, I forgot the 2nd most irritating, overrated actor next to Tom Cruise: Dunno why I forgot him....must be coz I wanna block him out.... EVERY time the same 'ol gags & faces..... The day he'll stop acting will be a bank holiday ;D  Ooeer I just really don't like Jim Carey - hat him you might say. Except for Eternal Sunshine - so maybe he should quit comedy and step over to the dark side  As for Peter Jackson - I kind of agree. LotR was amazing, of couse - and I also think Brain Dead kicks ass big time. But now that he has seen the money, it all goes downhill. I mean King Kong is one of the wordt movies ever (the new version). So as for Johnny Depp - I think we all agree he is a good actor. And yes, maybe one or two of his movies or characters ARE overrated, but not him in total. Lucas does indeed deserve all the glory. I may not think all of his movies are among the best ones made, but as Dennis said he has done a whole lot for the movie industry. Dakota Fanning - who knows, she's just a kid. You can't really say much about it just now. She might grow up to be a great actress, she might also disappear like so many child stars before her. I guess only time will tell. |

Ben Stiller belongs here too !! Yes Dennis you put it right... i was referring to pirates mostly , i think some of his characters are overated, iam not a big fan of his so. Ben Stiller  Always playing a loser , or a person thats surrounded by negativity its not funny after so many movies... |

4. Pauly Shore  Seemed like good fresh talent and never got passed that. Terrible actor. Forgot him! He is so unbelievably terrible!! DAMN!!! |

dont get me started on Sandler haha, also I think Owen Wilson is a bit overated to , i Just dont seem to like he comedy movies he is in these days |

Adam Sandler is a bit like Steve Martin in my opinion: both have done some really funny movies, but they also have had their share of totally gruesome pictures.

yeah theyre at a point where theyre populair and then they milk that popularity by the same kind of movies
