Just wanted to chime in on the Prowse discussion. I think no one can claim Prowse is a great actor if only based on his role as Darth Vader. Especially when he wears mask and it's a non-speaking role. But he had a career outside SW, and he was an ok actor. Is he charging to much at conventions? Oh heck yeah. But is he the worst? Heck no, and far from it. But I'm more happy to pay a person from the days when the actors didn't earn millions of $ for a movie, then paying an A-list celeb from today for his/hers autograph.

Bjork. Ok, she's not been in that many movies. But she just belongs in every category containing the word OVERRATED Sure, you might say she's overrated. I won't argue with that (She is one of my fave singers, but I can still see your point). But I don't feel she is overrated as an ACTRESS. The only movie I heard people give her a lot of praise for was Dancer in the Dark. And mind you, she was awesome in that movie. She really did deserve that Palme D'ore. I haven't seen Drawing restraint 9 yet, but I also haven't heard many people praise her for that. So she really sisn't overrated as an actress.

About it winning the Palme D'ore... for me that says little or non. That award often goes to all kinds of "weird" movies. Those movies are often seen as "art-movies", which I often find dull and overrated. Of course we will never agree on this as she is one of your fave singers while I totally hate her as a singer (everytime I hear "It's oh so quiet" I want to blow my brains out just to don't have to hear it anymore). As they say... opinions are like asses....split.

About it winning the Palme D'ore... for me that says little or non. Same with the Oscars. Please explain to me why Sir Alfred Hitchcock (or Martin Scorcese & Stanley Kubrick) never won a best director Oscar? (and Sam Mendes did get one?) Or this: legend Lauren Bacall never got an Oscar.....Halle Berry did Cary Grant: 0 Oscars....Adrian Brody: got 1 Greta Garbo: none.....Hilary Swank: 2 I mean: these people are legends! I bet that 50 years from now almost no-one will remember 'the Pianist'.....while North By Northwest is a real classic & one of the best movies ever (my opinion) In the late 70's some movie called 'Annie Hall' won the best movie Oscar, beating one of the most loved movies ever (some kind of Sci-Fi movie....what was it called again.... ) Awards at Festivals like the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival: THOSE mean something..... The Oscars, Golden Bear, Golden Globes, Palme d'Or: couldn't care less.....

This should show how little the small golden fellow really means.

I don't have a top-5, but when talking about overrated people, I immediately must think about this man: M. Night Shyamalan. I'm really sorry but alot of people have the opinion this man is brilliant. I've seen The sixth sense, Unbreakable and Signs and I didn't like one of them. Highly, highly overrated.

Unbreakable was..ehm..ok, at best.

Can't act and an Oscar doesn't mean sh!t. It was a dirty political game. Mostly plays herself all the time with the exception of one or two roles. Agree on Tom Cruise. Mostly plays himself but now and again does something good like Collateral and Magnolia. When he takes a different role people are used of him. Can't think of any more at the moment.
