Not taking any sides here (I know absolutely nothing about James Caan & signing and cannot say anything about this being genuine or not); but where is your opinion based on? (Just curious)

Well the fact that he is known to have someone sign from him and this doesn't look like his autograph. In fact it looks like the generic poolboy type. CLICK

CLICKHey, cool to see you use Autographworlds Authentication to prove your point! Makes me even safer about the Harrison Ford I got from them ;D About the Caan though, congrats Marko! I know little about Mr. Caan's signing habbits. So until proven otherwise, cool success!

The James Caan signatures they have on file don't look anything like the ones above, yet still that isn't proof to you. So the whole authentication section musn't have much weight with you.

The James Caan signatures they have on file don't look anything like the ones above, yet still that isn't proof to you. So the whole authentication section musn't have much weight with you. Let me quote a little bit directly from the Autographworld's site: "Welcome to the Autograph World on-line Facsimile Guide of in person celebrity autographs" NOTE: Guide, NOT blueprint. It is a refference tool, not an ultimate. Besides that it is an in-person guide. NOT TTM guide. But let's go on... "Current celebrity autographs are among the most difficult signatures to authenticate in the hobby. Many stars change their autographs frequently, and in most cases, there are numerous factors that can dictate the quality of an in person autograph. Were they standing, sitting, running down the sidewalk or signing up against a brick wall when it was signed? Did they use sharpie, paint pen, ball point or pencil when they signed? Is it a 'quick signature' or a 'full signature? For the most part, you need to have numerous examples and a lot of experience to authenticate current celebrities. Many times, it comes down to the credibility of the 'source'." NOTE:They admit that there can be NUMEROUS versions of one persons signature depending on the situation it was signed in. You showed no less then 3 excamples of James Caan's signature. It's not then said that Mr. Caan never has written a signature different from those 3 variations. Besides those 3 were in-persons signatures. The one compared to was TTM. The Authentication tool is a reference guide to compare and see if you see similarities. Not to say, nope that one doesn't look like it. It MUST be false!
