Just saw it, agree with the posters above. Best ep of season three thus far. Cool to see how some pieces of the puzzle get connected now.

Something about the episode from last week: I think Locke's dad is the REAL Sawyer. How do you guys think about this? I think you are right. My friend informed me yesterday that apparently Locke's dad's name is an anagram, spelling out something along the lines of "Original Sawyer con man poor dad". He said he read it in an interview with Damon Lindelof.

Bill,
I remember in the recreated scene of the pilot that Locke is walking along (before the guy gets sucked into the jet engine) and Nikki runs into him. Can you find that and then go back and check the original episode and see if that happens?
I agree that if they redid the pilot, then they did an excellent job of making the cast look like they did at the beginning.
Thanks, Mike

Is Locke's dad's name really Anthony Cooper, or did he just tell Locke that? Because in the last Locke episode, that son that shows up at Locke's apartment says Locke's dad called himself "Adam Seward"

Thanks, Mike I also did notice that one, and went looking for that scene in the pilot, but didn't see Nikki there. In the pilot Locke walks with 2 other crash-victoms and then yells at the guy to go away from the engine. So what I don't understand is: - Did some people of the cast really loose weight for this episode alone? - Did Charlie really grow back his little beard? - Did Sun really cut her hair again? - etc. etc. If not: Then this is the best make-over I have ever seen in a show! Amazing! Is Locke's dad's name really Anthony Cooper, or did he just tell Locke that? Because in the last Locke episode, that son that shows up at Locke's apartment says Locke's dad called himself "Adam Seward" According to IMDB it's Anthony Cooper and no mentioning of Adam Steward there. But then again: The guy who told Locke that his father is called Adam Steward was conned (how do you write this?) as well by Locke's dad. So that probably is a fake name as well. But I can't get "Original Sawyer con man poor dad" out of Adam Steward actually.

I agree that if this was all recreated then they did a fantastic job!
Yeah, conned is the term.
Does anybody remember the episode about Sawyer's backstory when some guy walks in and kills his mom. He goes to Australia and is going to kill the guy selling the crawfish out of the little trailer. Was that the real Sawyer? Did Sawyer end up shooting the guy or not? I can't remember. It's the same episode where Sawyer runs into Jack's dad.

Was that the real Sawyer? Did Sawyer end up shooting the guy or not? I can't remember. It's the same episode where Sawyer runs into Jack's dad. Sawyer killed a guy he thought was the real Sawyer, but it was just a trick by Hibbs. From the Lostpedia: "Along with a partner, Hibbs, Sawyer participated in the Tampa Job, which by accounts did not turn out well for him. Hibbs later approached Sawyer, saying he was trying to make up for his part in the botched job. He told Sawyer that the original Sawyer was in fact named Frank Duckett, and that he lived in Sydney, Australia. Blinded by his rage, Sawyer traveled to Oceania in search of Duckett. While there, Sawyer visited a bar and met with Christian Shephard. Christian told Sawyer about the situation with his son, Jack, and encouraged him to finish the business he had intended to do. With this in mind, Sawyer finally meets Duckett. However, upon shooting him, he realizes Duckett is not the real Sawyer. Hibbs has once again tricked Sawyer, making him a common mercenary after Duckett had offended Hibbs previously. Duckett reveals his innocence to Sawyer and makes the ambiguous statement: "It'll come back around..." with his dying breaths. Reeling from the reality that he has murdered an innocent man, Sawyer runs. ("Outlaws")" EDIT: I found this and thought it was interesting. Apparently some of the whispers in the jungle are Frank Duckett's voice: www.lostpedia.com/wiki/The_Whispers

I remembered as well... on Studio64 I posted something about Frank Duckett last week. (in Dutch, sorry Mike!) Frank Duckett: Actor's name is Jeff Perry (also played in Prison Break) and last year I got in toch with the man's fanclub and the founders of the fanclub gave me his adress for sending a photo. But the ***** never signed my photo... never heard of it again. (like almost with ALL the LOST-n00bs I've written )

Not a bad episode tonight. I'm not a huge fan of the Kate episodes (it's usually the same thing about her running and that's already been done to death), but I liked tonight's flashbacks. I missed the first few minutes so I didn't see why Cassidy decided to help her in the first place though.
Next week's episode looks GREAT!

I liked the ep. not that much of a shocker though. Nice to see the "monster" back Cassidy helped Kate because Kate caught her while she tried to con someone at the gasstation. That person wanted to call the cops and Kate interviened by pretending Cassidy was telling the truth.

What I LOVED was also the "monster" and the fact that it couldn't go through the electric fences. And that Cassidy was in the flashbacks. She was working together with Sawyer, and in Kate's flashback, is pregnant of him. But Sawyer stole her money and run off.
Yet again a cool episode!
