Well Locke wanting Sawyer to kill his father makes MUCH more sense. If indeed Cooper is actually the Sawyer who killed James' father. I can see how Locke couldn't kill his own father. I wonder if it happens, will it be bad Karma for Locke and we won't be able to walk anymore? It's funny how they cut scenes and you get the wrong impression.
It's like last night when patch runs off in the jungle the first time and then Jin brings him down. The next thing we see is Desmond with a flare gun pointed at him against the tree. Then suddenly the sick girl (who isn't Desmon's first girlfriend) is right next to them. My wife wanted to know if Patch ran in circles, but I think Jin just walked him back to where she was at.

I noticed that as well. Clearly Jin has Patch in a headlock, then, without any transition, Desmond has a gun in Patchy's chest. I thought it was just me.

Well she will feel better knowing that somebody else picked up on that.
What I've been pondering is that Juliet says that on the island, the men now have 5 times the sperm count. Is Kate going to get pregnant from Sawyer??? I figure any birth control has run out by now...

I have read on another board that the girl from the helicopter told Mikael "I am not alone" instead of "thank you". Further more, I am curious why she wears a high altitude outfit when she's in a helicopter.?

Am I the only one who thought that Ben was acting a lot like The Emperor in last night's episode?

Can you imagine Locke dragging his dead father through the jungle just to get back with the others? Yuck!
The outside world saw the plane crash at the bottom of the ocean with all the people on board? Well the bottom of the ocean is pretty damn deep, so how did they find it?
But if true, then you get the impression that this is Hell/limbo/purgatory. But the producer SWORE SWORE SWORE that they wouldn't pull this cheap trick of an easy explanation that they were in limbo.
So what was the secret Juliet wanted to tell Kate? That they were double crossing the others? I'd be happy to see Sayid torture her swarmy ass. And I don't much care for Jack right now either.
Four more deaths in three episodes. Wonder who is next?

The outside world saw the plane crash at the bottom of the ocean with all the people on board? Well the bottom of the ocean is pretty damn deep, so how did they find it? I was wondering this too. Were they just randomly searching the ocean floor? They said they found the plane in a chasm 4 miles deep, which makes it all the more weirder... I was confused by this too. Maybe since really only die hard Lost fans heard the producers mention it won't be purgatory (didn't they say that in an official podcast or something?), the producers are just trying to get the casual fans at home guessing and thinking about where they are more. Or maybe it was just Anthony Cooper's take on where he was, and what he said was just his guess. I'm glad I'm not the only one whose getting sick of Jack. All he's done the last few episodes is protect Juliet and act like he can waltz back into camp and assume command without answering anyones questions as to what happened when he was taken prisoner for 10 days. Kate's been getting on my nerves lately too. I'm tired of seeing the Jack/Kate romance and tension over and over again.

Another great episode again this week! I am really wondering how they will explain the fact that flight 815 is found in the ocean with all the bodies in it...
Jack is lame at the moment. Don't like his part in the show either at this moment, and same goes for Juliette. But Locke and Sawyer both where AWSOME in this episode. Especially the part where Sawyer wanted to shoot Locke from the other side of the door and Locke said: "If the gun is loaded, you wouldn't have hold a knif against my throat". (or something like it)

There will be 48 more episodes over three years. I don't know if it counts the last 3 episodes this year. But 120 total. Why do I get the feeling this is going to drag out to the point I quit watching? news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070507/en_nm/lost_dc

Well I don't count Locke as being dead, so there's supposed to be 4 more deaths in 2 episodes. Previews for next week include the attack on the island from the others, and Desmond telling Charlie "This time, you have to die".
Episode was ok, not great. I liked the backstory with Ben and learning how he ended up on the island. I liked how they tied in the bus with the dead body (who happens to be Ben's father). And we know how the beer got on there. And plus the same music in the van as before. Got to feel for Ben with his dad blaming him for his mom's death. But if somebody puts on a gas mask and pulls out a canister, wouldn't you get out of the vehicle???
I could believe that Ben would kill his dad, and the rest of the Darma people, but what about Annie? That seems cold even for him. But we don't see her since she was little, so maybe she left.
So is Jacob real? Some quasi ghost? I like the Ben/Locke interaction. How is Locke going to get out of this one? It looked and sounded like the bullet went through his lung, and I don't see him getting out of the pit on his own. Maybe some of the others followed them? Maybe Jacob will help out?
I did like the explanation about how patch survived ("It wasn't set on lethal") and how Locked kicked his ass.

Just watched the episode, imo a very good one. I agree with Mike, it's cool to see how they unfolded some pieces of the puzzle (in this case the van Hurley found a few eps back) About Locke, well I hope he ain't dead, but who knows, you never sure with this show. I actually hope they will finish Jack off (<-wordjoke) He is starting to annoy me.

Did any of you catch Jacob in that last episode? They showed him for a brief instant right after he pushes Ben against the wall. Here's a clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=479HkrFTZiIPretty good episode. I agree that Locke isn't dead; after everything that has been happening to Locke lately it wouldn't make sense to end his story like that without answering all these questions about him. Besides, we all know how well Locke recovers from injuries on the island.
