I did mail an auto request to McConaughey and Fox to the hotel, though I'm not 100% sure Fox was there. He might have left before it got delivered, and you know he doesn't sign on the Lost set, so I'm not looking forward to getting it back.

Day 9:
I went to be an extra for the movie. About 3,000 were in the shot. In this scene, at the end of the movie, they show the actual surviving players and coaches. The camera starts with a closeup at the memorial fountain. It pans out to show the surviving players and coaches. Then zooms back and you see more, and then more, and then more people. I had a good spot about three rows behind the players. There were short people in front of me, so I'm confident that I'll be able to pick myself out.
We met in the baskeball stadium at 7:30am. At 9:00am they started shooting. At 11:30am we were done.

Update: The bullet has gone through the church!!! I mailed a separate photo to Matthew Fox and Matthew McConaughey to the actors hotel on Thursday. I included a hand written letter about how proud we were to have them acting in the movie, how it was such a great story, and that I went to Marshall as well. Matthew Fox was supposed to leave Saturday or Sunday. I received this picture in the mail today. It's the photo I sent, and returned in the SASE I included and postmarked from Huntington which is where the hotel is: When I saw the envelope in the mail, I knew I had a 50-50 chance of being Fox. But when I saw it, and INSCRIBED, I did a happy dance all the way from the mailbox to the house. I know he is reported to never sign through the mail, but only a handful of people knew which hotel he was staying at (I didn't even know for sure), and I think the nice letter I wrote, me being from West Virginia, going to Marshall, and all the emotions of the movie might have made the difference. But then again, maybe he was stuck in his hotel room and was bored.

Congrats Mike, totally awsome success !!
Oh and Duke, he aint the main star he's the most wanted one, cause he uses SFM about 99.9% of the time, which pretty much sucks. IMO they all kickass.

Bill,
I'm mostly certain that he left Saturday or Sunday. I mailed on Thursday, so he should have got it on Friday or Saturday. The mail in some places doesn't pick up on Saturday, and none run on Sunday, so I think he gave it to the hotel to put it in the mail Monday and I got it today.
I'll keep listening to the news and check the web to see if he's been seen in any more scenes. If so, I'll send your photo.
The Director did say that they were going to have the movie premiere in Huntington and that he was going to try to get Fox and the other main stars to attend.

Duke,
Marko has a point that they really are a mixed bunch. If I had to choose one as the most popular, I'd pick Fox. But it's sort of like Friends. They all are great, and none get the majority of the screen time.
As for the auto, like marko said it's preprint city if you mail to Hawaii. Add the fact that this one is personalized, and in my opinion it's like the holy grail of Lost.
God I'm relieved. 5 trips to Huntington, and I didn't even see him. You can read the previous posts about how disappointed I was. And then one trip to the mailbox and I'm on an emotional high right now, though I do feel bad that I couldn't get sigs for everybody else that asked.

Mike,
Why don't you put them on the web for everybody to see?

Which Bill? My Lost auto's? Or the actors from the Marshall movie?
Either way, it doesn't go well with my website for BSG auto's. Maybe I should add a "The Others" tab.

Here's a pic that was in the newspaper, taken from on top of the roof of the student center. I'm the guy in the dark red and black plaid shirt. You can just make me out, in this picture, but I think you'll be able to see me better in the movie:

Mike, since Fox was going to Hawai again, I didn't sent you the photo. But, still thanks.
